Shady Canyon Golf Club

Shady Canyon Golf Club is the first golf course to be awarded WaterStar Certification by Irvine Ranch Water District. This private club hopes its enthusiasm for using water more efficiently will inspire other golf courses in the IRWD service area to follow its lead.

In 2019 Shady Canyon Golf Club saved 214.5 million gallons of drinking water by using recycled water for irrigation. In the same year the club saved 2.35 million gallons of drinking water indoors. Shady Canyon Golf Club also recently upgraded all of it indoor fixtures, such as showerheads, faucets, toilets and urinals, which will result in additional water savings throughout 2020.
